Who is Grim Grizzly?
Hi there! My name is Alexis and if you’ve made it to this article, you’re probably wondering who I am and what I’m doing spilling on my secrets on the internet. And to that I say – I am an open book. Here’s a little about me:
As previously stated my name is Alexis. As a career I work out of Atlanta doing luxury interior design which is a blast and a lot of what I post about will be design related. Hobby wise I cook, bake, sew, draw, paint, read, and write. All said and done I’m a creative at my core.
Since I was a kid I knew I would end up in a creative field and I’ve made that dream a reality. So far i’m loving it!
Why I started Grim Grizzly:
In 2025, I think all of us have felt a little lost at in at least one area of our lives whether it be emotionally, financially, or physically. About mid-March I sat down to create a 5 year plan (Type A, I know) and divided my life into all these categories and I realized two things.
The first was that I wanted to invest more time and energy into my passions and hobbies.
The second was that – in this economy – I needed a side hustle.
The idea of a blog had always been in the back of my mind as a way to invest more time to my passions and I think everyone has seen mommy-bloggers on pinterest share their blogging success stories. Writing has always been a creative outlet for me and I love sharing what I’m doing as a creator with other people.
The fear of not knowing my niche kept me from committing, but sitting down and making sure I could put actionable items on a calendar to make my dream life happen was the push I needed.
So here I am! Typing my ambitions out on the computer in front of me and sharing my life with the world.
